Haiku My Heart - The Earl of Grey

It's hard to believe another week has gone by so quickly and it's time for a new haiku. I've been a bit under the weather for a couple of days and it sort of snuck up on me.

There's nothing more soothing than a hot cup of tea, especially when you're not feeling so well or on a rainy day. I'm very fortunate to have a beautiful collection of tea cups that belonged to my grandmother. Over the years, I've added to them so now the china cabinet they occupy is filled to capacity. I love the vintage patterns and the delicacy of each set. Some are very unique and one day I'll get around to photographing all of them.

This photo also includes my rather beat-up copper tea pot. A favorite of mine - very gypsy. :)

As for tea, okay - I admit to having an Earl Grey addiction. I love the stuff. Any other tea addicts out there? What's your favorite? I'm a coffee drinker, too, but nothing on this earth warms these ol' bones more than a cuppa tea. Mmmm... so comforting...

There's more haiku to be found here... brew yourself a fresh cup and enjoy.
